Paraprofessional

Role Overview: As a Paraprofessional, you will provide essential support to teachers and students within the classroom. Your role will involve assisting with instructional activities, managing classroom behavior, and supporting students with diverse learning needs to ensure a productive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with implementing lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students to reinforce learning.
• Help manage classroom behavior and create a positive, structured environment.
• Support students with special needs by following individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Document and report on student progress and any issues to teachers and parents.
• Collaborate with educators and staff to address student needs and adapt instructional strategies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree or higher preferred.
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous.
• Strong munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a mitment to supporting student success.
