Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and students' specific needs, aligned with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups, using evidence-based practices and innovative techniques.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' progress and integration of communication skills into academic settings.
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress reports.
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing insights and recommendations regarding students' speech and language needs.
• Stay informed about current best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical standards as outlined by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and relevant regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree (or equivalent) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid Minnesota state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
