Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in conducting assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and munication disorders in students.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities under the supervision of licensed SLPs to address students' munication needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, as outlined in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
- Support students' participation in classroom activities by implementing speech and language strategies and facilitating munication skills development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic progress and social development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in munication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- pletion of a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) program accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or equivalent training.
- Massachusetts state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA).
- Previous experience working with children or in a school-based setting is advantageous.
- Strong munication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
