Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in conducting assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and munication disorders in students.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities under the supervision of licensed SLPs to address students' munication needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, as outlined in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
• Support students' participation in classroom activities by implementing speech and language strategies and facilitating munication skills development.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic progress and social development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in munication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
• pletion of a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) program accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or equivalent training.
• Massachusetts state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA).
• Previous experience working with children or in a school-based setting is advantageous.
• Strong munication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
