Description:

• Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, emotional development, and academic skills.

• Counseling and Intervention: Provide counseling and interventions to support students facing behavioral, emotional, or academic challenges.

• Consultation: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies and interventions that promote learning and mental health.

• Prevention Programs: Design and implement programs to prevent bullying, substance abuse, and other issues affecting student well-being.

• Advocacy and Support: Advocate for the needs of students with disabilities or special needs, ensuring they receive appropriate educational accommodations and support services.

Qualifications

• Master's degreefrom an accredited program.
• Provisional Certificate in School Psychology issued by NYSED.
• Experience working as a school psychologistor in a related educational setting.
• Pass a tech screen
• Provide your own liability insurance.
• This is a fully remote position with a 1099 contract.
