Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: California (Remote)
Job Type: Fulltime, Next School Year Contract
Pay: $50/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet clients' specific needs and goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapy interventions using virtual platforms, ensuring effective communication and engagement with clients.
• Collaborate with clients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal outcomes and continuity of care.
• Monitor clients' progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document all clinical activities accurately and timely.
• Stay informed about current research, best practices, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
• Participate in virtual team meetings, clinical supervision sessions, and continuing education opportunities to enhance professional growth and development.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards outlined by regulatory bodies and maintain confidentiality of client information at all times.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience working as an SLP, preferably in a virtual or teletherapy setting.
• Proficiency in utilizing telepractice platforms and technology for remote service delivery.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport, communicate effectively, and collaborate with clients and team members virtually.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage caseload efficiently.
• Commitment to providing culturally competent and inclusive care to clients from diverse backgrounds and communities.
