Job Details:

• K-12 caseload

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Texas
• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting preferred
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
• Dedication to providing passionate and client-centered care

Responsibilities:

• Conduct prehensive assessments of patients' functional abilities and limitations
• Develop individualized treatment plans to address patients' goals and needs
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to patients, including therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living (ADL) training, and adaptive equipment remendations
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outes
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, therapeutic techniques, and home exercise programs
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure coordinated care and support
