We are currently seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time position in Ypsilanti, MI, for the 2024-2025 school year. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of elementary and middle school students, we encourage you to apply!

Position Details:

• Location: Ypsilanti, MI
• Start/End Date: August 26th, 2024 - June 6th, 2025
• Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
• Caseload: Elementary and middle school students

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Collaborate with other educators, specialists, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
• Monitor and assess student progress, making necessary adjustments to instructional strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Michigan Special Education teaching license.
• Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
