Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled BCBA to provide maternity leave coverage near Pleasant Hill, CA, from September to January. The role involves managing a caseload of 15-20 students, conducting assessments, and collaborating with educators and families to create and implement effective behavior intervention plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and design behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Offer guidance and support to teachers, staff, and families in implementing behavior management strategies.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of interventions, making adjustments as needed.
- Work closely with IEP teams to ensure that behavior goals align with students' educational objectives.
- Provide training and oversight to paraprofessionals and other staff involved in behavior support.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of student progress and behavior interventions.
Requirements:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience with behavior analysis in educational settings
