Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of required paraprofessional training or certification as per state and local regulations
• Experience working with students in an educational setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students with diverse learning needs under the direction of classroom teachers and special education staff
• Assist students with academic tasks, behavioral interventions, and personal care as needed
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior plans, as directed by supervising educators
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior
