Tax Senior - Corporate Position. (This is not a Public CPA opportunity)
We are inviting applications for the role of a Tax Senior - Corporate, based in WHITE PLAINS, New York. This role is centered around preparing and analyzing income tax provisions, completing diverse tax returns, and effectively responding to tax authority notices and audits. The role also involves researching and documenting technical tax issues and participating in special tax-related projects.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct the preparation and analysis of income tax provisions, including the scrutiny of book/tax differences, deferred tax balances, and uncertain tax positions.
• Undertake responsibilities for the completion of federal, state, local, and foreign income tax returns.
• Lead efforts in annual extension and estimated tax payments to ensure accurate accounting.
• Review various informational returns and reports, including but not limited to forms 5471 and 1042.
• Assist in managing tax fixed and intangible assets, specifically tax depreciation and amortization analysis.
• Coordinate US Research Tax Credit study and state tax apportionment data.
• Respond promptly and effectively to tax authority notices and audits, researching issues and preparing responses.
• Research and document technical tax issues that are related to tax reporting and compliance.
• Participate actively in special projects, particularly those involving tax planning and tax M& A analysis.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and complex formulas
• Ability to prepare and review Annual Income Tax Provision
• Experience in preparing and filing Annual Tax returns for corporations
• Proficiency in conducting Compliance Audits to ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Corporate Income Tax preparation and filing.
