We are in search of a Back End Developer to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role centers around the technology industry and focuses on the development and maintenance of server-side logic. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining server-side applications using Java, Kafka, and Oracle technologies
• Utilizing caching technologies to optimize back-end performance
• Applying knowledge of Capital Markets to enhance the functionality of developed applications
• Managing containerized applications through Kubernetes
• Utilizing skills such as Atlassian Jira, Backend Development, Bug Tracking, Client Side Scripting, Cross-Platform, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Ajax, API Development, CSS, Apache Kafka, Oracle, and Oracle 12c
• Developing and maintaining API's for cross-platform interaction
• Debugging and resolving software defects and issues
• Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Adhering to best practices in software development, including testing and quality assurance
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our systems remain relevant and efficient.• Candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Back End Developer.
• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira is required.
• Extensive experience in Backend Development is essential.
• Proficiency in Bug Tracking is necessary.
• Knowledge of Client Side Scripting is expected.
• Experience in Cross-Platform development is required.
• Familiarity with AB Testing is beneficial.
• Experience working within an Agile Scrum environment is essential.
• Proficiency in Ajax is necessary.
• API Development skills are required.
• Knowledge of CSS is expected.
• Experience with Apache Kafka is beneficial.
