Peds MRI Tech: Must have 2 years recent MRI experience in a L1 or L2 Peds Trauma facility.

Facility info: Facility is the regions only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma hospital with the only Level 4 NICU in the region. They handle the sickest of the sick patients and run 15 operating rooms doing surgeries 24/7.
They have 15 ORs along with 6 outpatient surgery centers. Outpatient centers include dermatology, Rheumatology, Ophthalmology, General and Pediatric.  
Types of scans: Primarily Pediatrics including Neuro, Heads, spines, typical extremity and body work and some cardiology.  
Scans Per Day: Average 12-15 scans per day.  
Other techs on shift: Yes, but there may be rare occasions when they are only tech scheduled.
Equipment: 2 Magnets, both are Siemens.  1.5T Sola and 3T Skyra
Required Certs: ARRT, BLS, IV Certification (preferred, but not required); NY license
Required experience: 2yrs L1 or L2 Peds Trauma; Siemens scanning equipment.

Shift: Days varied start time (could be 6a-630p, 7a-730p, 8a-830p) 36 hours per week.
Weekend requirement: every other Saturday.
Call requirement: No call required, if they would like to take call that would be an option.
Start Date: 7/29
Duration: 10-12 weeks, likely will be opportunity to extend.
