X-Ray Field Service Engineer - Northern Utah and Eastern Idaho
My Client, a provider of advanced imaging solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated X-Ray Field Service Engineer to join the team. This role involves servicing and maintaining X-ray machines and other medical imaging equipment across various locations, primarily in Eastern Idaho and Northern Utah. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in hospital settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Service: Install, maintain, and repair X-ray imaging systems and related equipment at customer sites within the assigned geographic area.
Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing technical issues, answering questions, and delivering solutions in a timely manner.
Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems with X-ray systems, including electrical, mechanical, and software issues.
Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance and system checks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work orders, service reports, and inventory management.
Training and Support: Train customer personnel on proper equipment use, safety procedures, and maintenance practices.
Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate’s degree or higher in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service engineering, specifically with X-ray imaging systems or related medical equipment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining X-ray equipment. Familiarity with imaging software and computer systems.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in medical imaging or electronics (e.g., ARRT, CRES) are preferred.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Travel: Must be willing to travel frequently within the assigned region (Eastern Idaho and Northern Utah). A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
Location: Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Eastern Idaho or Northern Utah.

60,000-80,000 Annual Salary
