We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Cloud System Administrator in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be part of our IT team, where you will handle a variety of tasks including processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and manage cloud-based systems, primarily focusing on AWS technologies.
• Develop and implement Ansible scripts for automation of tasks.
• Utilize Atlassian Jira for project management and tracking.
• Implement Auto Scaling in AWS to ensure effective management of resources.
• Use Amazon EC2 for launching and managing servers in the cloud.
• Develop and manage APIs for integration of various systems.
• Monitor and manage backup technologies to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Conduct cluster analysis to understand and optimize system performance.
• Use your knowledge of AWS Technologies to enhance system functionality and efficiency.• Should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cloud System Administrator or in a similar role.
• Demonstrable experience with AWS Technologies, including Amazon EC2 and Auto Scaling.
• Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management.
• Experience with Atlassian Jira for project management and issue tracking.
• Familiarity with API Development and Automation.
• Knowledge of Backup Technologies to ensure data safety.
• Ability to perform Cluster Analysis.
• Should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex cloud issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven experience in managing and maintaining cloud-based production systems.
• Demonstrable understanding of networking and core Internet protocols.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with IT compliance and risk management requirements.
• Willingness to keep up with the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing.
