LHH (Atlanta) is working with a highly recognizable, multibillion dollar company on a search for an Accounting Manager. This position will help lead the month-end close, manage and mentor several Staff/Seniors, and will play a key part in the company's exciting growth plans!

DESCRIPTION

• Oversee and ensure the accuracy and completeness of month-end and quarter-end close processes.

• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.

• Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management.

• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial performance and trends.

• Ensure adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements.

• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and procedures.

• Provide support for internal and external audits.

• Prepare necessary documentation and schedules to support audit processes.

REQUIREMENTS

• CPA

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience

• Management level experience at a midsize-large company (public preferable)

• Excellent communication skills

• Proficient user of Microsoft Excel

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS

• $130,000 - $150,000 (plus 10% bonus)

• Work from home 2 days per week
