Responsibilities
Maintain current knowledge of employment related laws and institutions and assist with providing compliance in all areas of human resources
Respond to internal and external human resources inquiries or requests and provide assistance
Assist with personnel recruitment activities, including advertising open positions, scheduling interviews, coordinating interview materials, sending candidate emails, etc.
Process online requests for background checks on prospective employees
Schedule pre-employment physicals
Schedule and assist with new employee orientation and onboarding
Coordinate new hire paperwork
Prepare and maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, and promotions, in compliance with applicable standards
Employee benefits administration, including health insurance, short & long-term disability, life insurance, FMLA, and workers’ compensation
Prepare and maintain Workers’ Compensations and Incident Reports
Assist in the aggregation of data needed to prepare the annual Affirmative Action Plan
Assist with preparation of the performance review process
Accept administrative support assignments as needed
Other duties as assigned
Specifics:
Full-time; Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm with an hour lunch
Contract-to-Hire
Compensation between $20-25/hr. all dependent on level of experience
