Position: CVICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift: 12-hour nights

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) RN for a 13-week assignment in Johnson City, NY. This role involves providing critical care to adult patients in a high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CVICU nursing and be prepared for a demanding yet rewarding position.

Unit Details:

• Beds: 16
• RN Ratio: 1:2
• Patient Population: Adult
• mon Patient Diagnoses: Cardiac procedures, cardiac and thoracic surgeries, IABP, Impella, transvenous pacers, CRRT, paralytics, sepsis, multi-system organ failure, chronic ventilators, occasional ECMO
• mon Drips/Medications: Levophed, all cardiac medications
• Charting System: EPIC
• Floating: May be required to float to ICU, Telemetry, ED, or other MST units as needed

Requirements:

• NY RN license in hand
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of CVICU experience
• Willingness to work every third weekend
