Richmond County Schools is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year (July 29, 2024 - May 23, 2025).

In this role, you will:

• Provide individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities in a K-12 setting.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with parents and other professionals.
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of your students.
• We are particularly interested in candidates with experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum and those exhibiting behavioral challenges.

To be successful, you will:

• Hold a valid Georgia Special Education Teacher Certification.
• Possess a strong understanding of special education best practices.
• Be a patient, compassionate, and dedicated educator.
