Position: Infusion Pharmacist
Location: Gainesville, FL
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6-8 weeks contract
Shift: Mon - Fri 8:30am 5:00pm

Duties:

• Infusion pharmacy working strictly with acute conditions, preparing sterile pounds for mainly (IVs/Hydration, TPNs, Antibiotics).
• Checking/verifying IVs, hands-on making of IVs.

• municate with providers to influence optimal drug therapy in accordance with approved protocols and current practice.

• Monitors patients drug therapy and provides drug information to patients and healthcare providers.

• Oversees and directs pharmacy technical staff in the execution of technical functions.

Experience:

• Holds a FL pharmacist license
• Strong clinical and munication skills to work with patients and providers.
• Software: CPR+ experience preferred but not required
• Infusion pharmacy experience required
