Description: We are currently seeking a skilled PACU / Preop RN for a contract position in Jeffersonville, IN. The candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and during the Preoperative phase.

Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Required Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the preoperative and postoperative phases.
• Monitor patients as they recover from anesthesia, managing pain levels, and ensuring stability.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth transition from surgery to recovery.
• Provide preoperative care and education to patients and families.
