Job Title: RN – Modified Care Unit
Job Location: Menomonee Falls, WI
Job Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Shift: 12-hour Day / Nights and float as needed.

Job Summary and Responsibilities:
- Monitor Cardiac Patients: Continuously observe and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment to detect abnormalities such as arrhythmias, ischemia, and other heart conditions.
- Patient Assessment: Perform regular assessments of patients’ cardiovascular status, including vital signs, ECG readings, and symptoms, to evaluate their condition and response to treatment.
- Administer Medications: Administer prescribed medications and treatments related to cardiac care, ensuring accurate dosages and monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions.
- Develop Care Plans: Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to create and update individualized care plans based on patient needs and treatment goals.
- Educate Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and their families about cardiac conditions, treatment plans, lifestyle changes, and the use of medical equipment.
- Respond to Emergencies: Quickly and effectively respond to cardiac emergencies, including performing CPR and other life-saving interventions as needed.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient data, treatments, and progress, and communicate relevant information to the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
Experience:
- 2 years’ experience as RN required
- Must know Tele and pass Tele test (Cardiac)
Education:
- Associate’s degree required
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- State of Wisconsin Nursing License
- BLS – AHA
- ACLS – AHA
