Job Description This position is responsible for front-end reimbursement duties, providing phone and clerical support to the clinical component of home infusion. Other responsibilities include entering patient referral data into the database, entering physician information into the database, entering outcomes information into the database, and tracking controlled substances (CIIs) and patient satisfaction surveys.

Completing authorizations and insurance investigations for patients on Providence’s infusion and nutritional therapies.

Separating clinics that need infusions or nutritional therapy.

When a new referral comes in - they never see the patients - it’s PARR’s job to investigate and report out what they find for insurance, verify benefits online, collaborate with the billing team, and collaborate with the liaison to align the insurance plan with the treatments, ensuring it will cover them.

Required Skills and Experience

• 1+ years of experience with data entry.
• 1 year of experience working with verification of insurance benefits.
• Familiarity with insurance terminology and comfortable discussing insurance benefits.
• Pharmacy assistant license upon hire.
• Independent self-starter with excellent communication skills.
