Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. As an integral part of our special education team, the OT will play a crucial role in enhancing the educational experience and promoting the overall well-being of our students. This is a full-time contract position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students both individually and in group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic and social success.
• Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and related paperwork.
• Stay informed about best practices in occupational therapy and participate in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Ohio state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
