ProCare Therapy is partnering with a fantastic school district in Wheaton, IL to find a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for the upcoming school year.
Position Details:

• Type: Full-Time
• Location: On-site
• Pay: $18-25/hr
• Caseload: Transition/High School

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate, basic nursing care to students following their care plans and school policies.
• Assist with daily activities including feeding, toileting, grooming, and mobility as needed.
• Monitor and record vital signs, behaviors, and health status.
• Administer medications and treatments under school nursing staff's direction.
• Work with teachers, school nurses, and parents to support students with special medical needs.
• Keep medical supplies and equipment organized and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid until further help arrives.
• Document care provided in student health records accurately and promptly.
• Engage in professional development to maintain certification and stay updated on school nursing practices.
• Ensure confidentiality and privacy of student medical information.

Requirements:

• Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred.
• Must have CNA certification for Illinois.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work well with teachers, parents, and team members.
