**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a Level II Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional respiratory care in a hospital setting.

**Duties:**

- Assess and treat patients with breathing disorders

- Provide emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock

- Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans

- Operate and monitor respiratory equipment to administer treatments

- Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and treatment options

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field

- Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

- State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner

- Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in critical care or pulmonology

- Knowledge of ventilator management, pulmonary function testing, and arterial blood gas analysis

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice-to-have Skills:

- Experience working with geriatric patients

- Familiarity with hospital medicine practices

- Knowledge of physiology and anatomy related to respiratory care

- Previous experience in an Operating Room (OR) or Clinic setting
