Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Watertown, WI. In this full-time, full-year contractor role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver essential speech and language services to students in various educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervising SLP in conducting speech and language screenings.
- Implement treatment plans and activities designed by the SLP.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Support students in individual and group therapy sessions.
- Prepare materials and equipment for speech therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
- Valid SLPA license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
