Position: Registered Nurse (Elementary School Population)

Overview:

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Richland, WA for the 2024-2025 school year. This onsite position offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the health and well-being of elementary school students in the Richland area.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including administering medications, managing chronic conditions, and addressing acute health issues.
• Conduct routine health screenings and maintain accurate health records.
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with specific medical needs.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe and healthy school environment.
• Respond to emergency health situations and provide first aid as necessary.
• Educate students, staff, and parents on health and wellness topics.
• Ensure pliance with state and federal health regulations and school policies.
• Promote and implement health and wellness programs within the school.

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington state.
• Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Previous experience working as a school nurse or with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of school health regulations and practices.
• Proficient in using electronic health records and other relevant software.
