Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for full-time roles with school districts in the Greeley, Colorado area for the upcoming school year. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting students' development through occupational therapy services.

Requirements:

• Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Colorado
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Completion of a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Occupational Therapy
• Knowledge of local and state regulations governing occupational therapy services in schools
• Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, goals, and objectives that address students' unique needs
• Provide direct occupational therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions to improve students' functional performance and independence
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals and strategies into students' educational programs
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to goal development, determine appropriate accommodations, and provide progress updates
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and reports in compliance with district and state regulations
• Provide training and support to teachers and staff on strategies and accommodations to promote students' participation and success in school activities
• Stay informed about current research, best practices, and trends in pediatric occupational therapy through ongoing professional development opportunities
