This is skilled mechanical and electrical work in the maintenance and repair of light to medium duty processing and building equipment such as conveyors, elevators, blowers, sifters, burners, grinders, tablet compression and encapsulation equipment, vacuum & hydraulic pumps, forklifts, and air compressors. Employees in this class work independently or with minimal supervision, applying mechanical/electrical knowledge and considerable independent judgment in the repair, overhaul, and remanufacturing of plant equipment. This role requires a 3+ year pharma veteran with mechanical competence in tablet coaters, compression machines, blenders (small and full room size), and granulation machines. Candidates with experience in beads manufacturing equipment are highly preferred. Packaging experience is important and helpful but not the primary focus; manufacturing equipment know-how is essential.

• Encapsulation or Compression machines
• Fluid Bed Dryers
• Room Sized V-Blenders
• Smaller mixers and granulation blenders with screens
• Dust collectors and air handling systems
• Clean Room experience
• Coating machines, coating guns
• High Voltage (480 /3 phase)
• New machine installation
• Steam boiler inspection and general maintenance
• Pharma Equipment – mechanical & electrical for both manufacturing & packaging
• Cold Form blistering, bottling machines, cartoning machines, electric eyes, heat sealers, powder sack fillers, box sealers, compactors, bailers, small boilers

• Mechanical competence
• Independent judgment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Following FDA/OSHA workplace regulations
• Pharma documentation - following SOP and GMP guidelines to perform and document work
