Experienced Paraprofessional

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Paraprofessionals for full-time positions within school districts located in the Felton, DE area. Candidates must meet all local and state requirements for this role. Please see detailed requirements below.

Requirements:

• Possession of a valid Paraprofessional certification or equivalent, as required by the state of Delaware.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Previous experience working in educational settings or with children preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and any other necessary screenings.

Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and classroom management.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs.
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed by teachers or special education staff.
• Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers as needed.
• Support students in various settings such as classrooms, hallways, and during transportation.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing materials and maintaining records.
