Special Education Paraprofessional

Position Type: Full-time, Contract
Duration: August 2024 - June 2025
Hourly Rate: $28

Main Responsibilities:

• Collect and document student data as instructed by the Behavior Supervisor or Special Education Teacher.
• Maintain a calm, flexible, and professional demeanor when working with students, supervisors, and colleagues.
• Exhibit excellent attendance and reliability.
• Assist specialists in school readiness activities, pre-academic tasks, and encouraging social interactions during recess and group activities.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience working with or caring for children with special needs
• Preferably 2or more years experience working with special needs in an educational setting
• Fluency in Vietnamese is a must
