School Psychologist

Bilingual Therapieshas partnered with a school district in theClayton, DE area that is looking for a School Psychologist Details below:

Overview:

• Full Time Onsite
• 37.5 hours per week
• 11 month contract
• K-8 Caseload
• Open to New Graduates

The position expects School Psychologists to:

• facilitate the learning and understanding of mental health and trauma in children and families
• carry out Functional Behavioral Analyses (FBAs)
• create Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• complete the IDEA due process for eligibility determinations accurately (such as Specific Learning Disability)
• serve as LEA representative for some Individualized Education Program (IEP) and/or Section 504 Plan meetings.

Required Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in School Psychology or Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology
• Knowledge of assessment procedures and instruments applicable for students aged 3-21
• Experienced with special education and multi-cultural topics, procedures, and laws
• Familiar with current research based universal screening and progress monitoring tools
