Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in the Mason, Ohio area. This full-time, on-site position offers the rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students across all grade levels (preschool through high school) by providing prehensive psychological services.
About the Role:
As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral well-being of students. You will collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create a safe and supportive learning environment for all.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting psycho-educational assessments to identify student needs and learning styles across different age groups (preschool through high school).
- Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Providing individual and group counseling services to address academic, social, and emotional challenges for students of varying ages.
- Consulting with teachers and administrators on strategies to support student success across the grade spectrum (preschool through high school).
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure a prehensive approach to student support.
- Conducting crisis intervention and providing support during challenging situations.
- Staying up-to-date on best practices in school psychology and implementing evidence-based interventions.
Qualifications:
- Ohio State School Psychologist License.
- Experience working with students in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of child and adolescent development, learning theories, and intervention strategies tailored to different age groups (preschool through high school).
- Excellent munication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in report writing and data analysis.
