Job Title: Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) 1-on-1

Location: Danville, IL (30 Miles E. of Champaign)

Contract Duration: August 12, 2024 - May 30, 2025

Hours: 35 hours per week

Caseload/Details:

• 1-on-1 support for a student
• Requires experience as an Interpreter for the Hearing Impaired
• Must have a basic understanding of and proficiency in major sign language systems, with a special emphasis on Signed English and American Sign Language (ASL)

Special Requirements:

• Valid Illinois Paraprofessional License
• Experience working with children preferred
• Associate degree preferred

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to provide 1-on-1 support for a student in Danville, IL for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position involves working closely with a student to facilitate munication and support their educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1-on-1 sign language interpretation for a student
