Position Details:

• Full-time: Youll be an integral part of the educational team, working consistently throughout the school year.
• pensation: petitive pay ranging from$32 to $42 per hour, mensurate with experience (DOE).
• Qualifications:
  • EIPA Candidates Preferred: We value interpreters with theEducational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA)certification.
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and a deep understanding of deaf culture.
  • Ability to effectively interpret spoken language into sign language and vice versa.
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent munication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide sign language interpretation services during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events.
• Foster an inclusive environment by ensuring effective munication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students, teachers, and staff.
• Support students academic success by facilitating access to information and promoting their participation in educational activities.

Requirements:

• Valid certification as aschool sign language interpreter.
• pliance with state and district policies related to educational interpreting.
• Passion for making a positive impact on students lives.
