Virtual School Psychologist
Location: Massachusetts, Remote

Pay: $48+/Hour
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Virtual School Psychologist to join our team in Massachusetts. As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will provide remote psychological services to students in various educational settings, supporting their social, emotional, and behavioral well-being. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote student success.
Responsibilities:
- Remote Counseling and Assessment: Conduct virtual individual and group counseling sessions to address students' emotional, social, and behavioral concerns. Administer psychological assessments and evaluations remotely to identify students' strengths, weaknesses, and needs.
- Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and intervention in crisis situations, including but not limited to, suicidal ideation, trauma, and behavioral emergencies. Collaborate with school staff and community resources to ensure appropriate crisis response and follow-up care.
- Consultation and Collaboration: Collaborate with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to develop and implement interventions and strategies to support students' academic, social, and emotional success. Provide consultation to teachers and administrators on behavioral management techniques, individualized education plans (IEPs), and accommodations for students with special needs.
- Individualized Support Plans: Develop and monitor individualized support plans for students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, mental health challenges, and social-emotional difficulties. Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed to promote student growth and development.
- Professional Development: Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and legal regulations related to school psychology and virtual service delivery. Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the field.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions, assessments, interventions, and consultations. Prepare comprehensive written reports summarizing assessment findings, recommendations, and progress monitoring data for students, families, and school personnel.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience providing virtual psychological services to children and adolescents in an educational setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and evidence-based practices in school psychology.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing the practice of school psychology in Massachusetts.
