Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

Location: New Braunfels, TX: Charming city known for its German heritage, scenic rivers, and vibrant downtown area, offering a mix of history, culture, and outdoor activities in the Texas Hill Country.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting screenings and assessments to identify students with speech and language concerns.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to address munication needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, targeting articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' munication goals and enhance their academic performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student outes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in munication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
• pletion of a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) program accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• State licensure or certification as an SLPA, or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred but not required.
