Independent Contractor Position for Michigan Schools as Speech Language Pathologist

Pay:$47-53/hr
Job Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time Hours
Location: Virtual (Michigan)

• Masters Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology
• ASHA (CCCs)
• Michigan state license as an Speech Language Pathologist
  • If not living in Michigan must also have the state license for the stateyou reside in
• 2+ years minimum working with students with speech deficiencies
• Telehealth experience is a plus!

• Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations of students to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific needs and goals.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students via teletherapy platforms.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress and address communication challenges.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations to support student success.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology and teletherapy.
