Retail Pharmacist In Charge (PIC)

Overview: RPh on the Go is seeking a motivated and capable Retail Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) for our Marietta, OK location. This position is ideal for a recent pharmacy graduate or an experienced pharmacist looking to step into a leadership role. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate, and comprehensive training will be provided to help you excel as a PIC. Support from other locations is readily available, ensuring you have the resources needed to succeed.

Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Schedule/Shift:

• Full-Time PIC preferred, but the client is open to considering a local pharmacist to work 2-3 days per month if necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions and ensure accurate dispensing of medications.
• Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations.
• Establish, monitor, and enforce policies and procedures to maintain high standards of professional practice.
• Ensure adherence to State and Federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy practice.
• Track and communicate regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
• Provide supervision and oversight to pharmacy staff.
• Handle all activities and documentation related to dispensing medications.

Qualifications:

• Active Oklahoma State Pharmacist license with a clean history.
• Previous experience as a PIC is preferred, or prior management experience is required.
• Recent retail pharmacy experience is essential.
• Experience with Computer RX software is preferred, but not required.
• Open to new graduates, with training provided on how to become a successful PIC.
