Job Description: As a Special Education Teacher contracted through ProCare Therapy, you will be responsible for providing specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. You will work collaboratively with other educators, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs for students with disabilities.
• Provide direct instruction to students in a variety of settings.
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and IEP goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with a range of disabilities.
• Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
