We are seeking a skilled and compassionate School Speech Language Pathologist to join our client's team in Westchester County, NY, for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide speech and language therapy services that support students' educational goals. This role involves evaluating students, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, and contributing to the overall success of the students within the school setting.

Our client, a reputable school district in Westchester County, NY, is seeking a dedicated School Speech Language Pathologist for the 2024-2025 school year.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students to identify their speech and language therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on students' specific needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups, on a per-diem basis.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the students' educational programs.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting intervention plans as necessary.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of students' IEPs.
- Provide training and support to school staff and parents on strategies to support students' speech and language therapy needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress reports.
- Stay current with best practices, research, and developments in the field of speech and language therapy.
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current New York State license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language therapy practices and principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
