Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students' occupational performance, including fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals tailored to each students needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings within the school environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom and daily routines.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to provide progress updates and recommendations for home-based support.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions, student progress, and treatment plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reporting.
• Stay current with best practices, educational standards, and developments in occupational therapy.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred.
• Experience working with children in a school setting or with school-aged children is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Passion for helping students achieve their fullest potential.
