Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Hamlet, NC. The SLPA will support Speech-Language Pathologists in assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, and munication disorders, under supervision.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Disorders, or related field.
• North Carolina state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
• Previous experience in a clinical or educational setting preferred.
• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and practices for speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting screenings and assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
• Implement therapy plans developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Provide direct therapy services to clients under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and other professionals to support client progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client sessions and progress.
