Paraprofessional

Location: Douglas, WY

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with instruction and classroom management.
• Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs.
• Help implement IEPs.
• Support students in various settings (classroom, lunchroom, playground).
• Prepare instructional materials and maintain classroom organization.
• Monitor and report student progress and behavior.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting students.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
• Basic understanding of special education principles is a plus.
