Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in an ABA classroom at an elementary school near Georgetown,Massachusetts. This full-time position involves working with students with Autism in a structured and supportive environment. You will have the assistance of two paraprofessionals in the classroom to help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and ABA strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with Autism.
• Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to support student learning and behavior.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other staff to create a positive and effective learning environment.
• Provide direct instruction in academic, social, and life skills areas.
• Monitor and assess student progress, making data-driven decisions to adjust instructional strategies.
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school staff to ensure consistent support for students.
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team planning sessions.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Massachusetts teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with Autism, preferably in an ABA classroom setting.
• Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
