Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' motor, sensory, and developmental needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve students' functional abilities and independence in educational settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
- Provide direct therapy services and interventions based on students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Nevada.
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
