Job Description: A fantastic opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Point Arena, CA. This full-time position is perfect for an SLP who is passionate about making a significant impact in a school setting, helping students enhance their communication abilities and succeed academically.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for each student, ensuring targeted and effective interventions.
• Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic student support.
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and adapt therapy strategies as necessary to meet educational goals.
• Collaborate with school staff to promote an inclusive and supportive educational environment.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
• Valid California SLP license.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
• Experience in a school setting is preferred.
