Job Description:

• Full time Bilingual (Spanish)SLPneeded for a Grant Primary and Elementary school caseload (grades K-5) in member district 88/Bellwood:

• Location is 4 days/week at Grant Elementary School- 1300 N 34th Avenue, Melrose Park, IL 60160 and 1 day at nearby Grant Primary (location of kindergartenclasses) 1801 N 36th Avenue Stone Park, IL 60165
• Manageablecaseload size, under 40 students in general education andsome blended classrooms (instructional and general ed), students with Spanish as their primary language are spread throughout all grades
• Student needs are primarily receptive/expressive language, speech sound disorders, some fluency, and limited high tech AAC.
• Some case managementof students who are S/L only
• SLPworking hours at this location are typically 8 am - 3:30 pmwith a 30 minute duty free lunch, instructional times are 8:20 am- 3:00 pm

  Full timeSLP(monolingual, but Spanish skills are welcomed) needed for aMcKinleyElementary school caseload (grades K-5) in member district 88/Bellwood:
• Location is 5 days/week atMcKinleyElementary School- 3300 Butterfield Road, Bellwood, IL 60104
• Manageablecaseload size, around 35 students in general education and instructional classrooms
• Some case managementof students who are S/L only, about 15 students
• SLPworking hours at this location are typically 8 am - 3:30 pmwith a 30 minute duty free lunch,instructional times are 8:20 am- 3:00 pm
• 
  Full timeSLP(monolingual, but Spanish skills are welcomed) needed inPAECprograms (fully self contained special education setting) and PreK program at member district 93/Hillside:
• Location is 4 days/week atPAEC Center- 1000 Van Buren, Maywood, IL 60525 and likely 1 day/week at Hillside/D93- 4804 Harrison Street, Hillside, IL 60162
• Manageable caseload size, around 35 students
• Hillside assignment is a blended PreK setting, AM and PM sessions,Team based approach where you will work closely in the classroom with teachers, program assistants, OT, PT, and Social Work
• PAEC Center caseload will be a variety of ages 5-22 with a variety of student needs, includingdevelopmental delays, Autism (low to high support needs), intellectual disabilities, and others
• Strong collaboration skillsare a must, asSLPwill be part of a team based approach working closely in the classroom with teachers, program assistants, OT/PT/SW
• Knowledge and experience (or at least a desire to learn more) with AAC is needed (low to high tech)
• Team of SLPs on site in a shared office space
• SLPworking hours at this location are8-3:30 pm
• 
  Full timeopeningfor anSLP(monolingual, but Spanish skills are welcomed)at D93/Hillside K-8:
• Location isfull time atHillside/D93- 4804 Harrison Street, Hillside, IL 60162
• K-8 caseload, with an additionalSLPin the building1 day/week to cover PreK caseload
• Manageable caseload size,about 30 IEP students and 10 students who are receiving RTI support
• 2 Instructional classrooms, grades K-2 and grades 3-5

Qualifications:

• Masters Level Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
• State SLP License
