Responsibilities/Accountabilities

We have an amazing opportunity for Recreation Therapist that can:

• Monitors quality and effectiveness of all of the resident programming on the memory impaired unit including admission assessment and care plans.
• Develops and implements plans for group and one-on-one therapeutic programming.
• Must be able to lift without restrictions.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Experience/Skills/Education

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Therapeutic Recreation
• Must hold the Recreational Therapist certification
• Minimum of one - three years' experience working with memory impaired individuals
• Current CPR certification
• Must possess valid Virginia driver's license and have a good driving record

Schedule (specify days and hours): Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday - hours are flexed as needed to cover weekends, holidays, and evenings.
