Job Description
We are looking for a Data Scientist. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, bash scripting, ELK, API calls, Ghostmachine, Splunk, Linux, and Nifi. As a Data Scientist, you must have a strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization techniques.
Our Client focuses on Software Engineering in the Cloud and Cyber Security domains. Our client's specialties include implementing real-time solutions and analytics through the use of interactive applications and the integration of industry-standard software stacks for both enterprise data intelligence and cyber security protection against network threats and exploits.
Nice to Have's:
- Design and implement data-driven solutions to help drive business decisions and improve processes.
- Develop statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze and predict trends in large datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven solutions to business problems.
- Use Python, bash scripting, and other tools to manipulate and process large datasets.
- Use ELK, Splunk, and other tools to monitor and analyze system logs and other data sources.
- Use Ghostmachine and Nifi to create and manage data flows between different systems.
- Develop and implement APIs to enable data integration with other systems.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through data visualization and presentations.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science.
Must Have's:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data science or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, bash scripting, ELK, API calls, Ghostmachine, Splunk, Linux, and Nifi.
- Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization techniques.
- Active TS/SCI-FSP
